I support a permanent ceasefire, the protection of civilians, and the full application of international law to all parties.
What is happening to the Palestinian people is not a conflict between equals. It is a humanitarian catastrophe marked by mass civilian casualties, collective punishment, forced displacement, and the destruction of basic infrastructure necessary for life. No people should be subjected to siege conditions, starvation, or indiscriminate violence.
Human rights are not conditional. International law is not optional. Civilian lives — Israeli and Palestinian — are equally valuable.
As a Member of Congress, I will advocate for:
An immediate and permanent ceasefire
Full humanitarian access to Gaza without political obstruction
An end to U.S. military aid being used in violation of international humanitarian law
Accountability for war crimes, regardless of the actor committing them
Protection of journalists, medical personnel, and aid workers
The right of Palestinians to self-determination, freedom of movement, and equal civil rights
Criticism of a government is not hatred of a people. Opposing war crimes is not antisemitism. Demanding accountability is not extremism. The weaponization of these accusations to silence debate undermines democracy and shields injustice.
The United States should be a force for peace, not an enabler of endless war. Our foreign policy must be rooted in human dignity, the rule of law, and the consistent defense of civilian life.
Free Palestine means freedom and security for everyone — without apartheid, occupation, or collective punishment.
